"Hello im Vik. Im 20, big party for my 21st in couple of months!!!!! Im studying in the West Midlands, England. Currently undertaking a degree in Criminal Law and Religious Studies. I know many people say that is unusual combnation but im doing a joint (final year!! YEAH!! but hard work!!) as i did well in Religious Studies in A level and Criminal Law, as i want to be a Crown Prosecutor!!
I started to enjoy watching tennis since the late 90s, Wimbledon really caught my eye that year..also i am a big fan of Sania Mirza. i like this site as it helps me to get a further insight to the british players who are not expected to do well at all. So thats a change!! in world tennis, on the mens i like safin's play and on the women's Clijsters. "
Hi Vik [I sure I've welcomed you before ], interesting to hear about you.
You sound like you will have a very interesting career ahead of you. Which uni are you at ? Which area of the law do you want to become a crown prosecutor in ? How do you go about doing it after uni [I'm just interested] ?
I saw the Sania Mirza match against Kusnetsova at Wimby this year and Sania really looked like a class player. Her forehand is massive. She has the amazing ability to just go for her shots which takes great courage and also the skill to pull them off.
I've always admired Clijsters' fantastic defensive play, her split step ball retrieval is the most spectacular shot in the women's game. As Alex says, Safin is one of the most exciting players to watch, he has the best backhand in the game when on top form, I remember him destroying Hewitt with it in the Aussie Open final and then spending a frustrating day trying to hit backhands down the line like that [I never managed it !!]
Well Im at Wolves Uni. For me to be a crown prosecutor(CP), i have to do a CPE (Common Professional Examination), which im planning to do for 2 years part time, it consists of all law cores such as tort and european law. As CPE is a unofficial law degree, i have to do a LPC (legal practice course 1 year course, have to be very committed to doing this), where i train as a socilitor for a firm. After qualifying as a solicitor, i am able to go on a different career path, which is the Crown Prosecution Service(CPS). Hopefully, with a lot of experience, i am able to get into one of the CPS offices where i do further study to train as a CP. i don't think there is any specialist in a law field in CPS, but if there was then criminal law would do for me. Though i know when one qualifies as a solicitor, you are a pick a specialist firm, though there not lot of criminal law firms but i know there's plenty in the capital.
