I think I am very probably the oldest poster on the tennis message boards - at least, if there is anybody older, they have not admitted it yet. I have followed tennis since I was 14, but I was absolutely useless at playing it. Those wooden racquets weighed a ton.... Spectating is much more my style.
I have for many years been interested in following the careers of young Brits, with no success at all until I got the internet, and not much since until I discovered this site and its "Other Brits" section. I have been interested in Andy Murray since he won the US juniors (which is when I first heard of him).
My hobbies apart from following tennis are computing, singing, reading, logic problems and gardening. I fit in running the house around those! I have a husband, not interested in tennis, and a daughter who is (I brought her up properly) but who now lives nearly 200 miles away - we did go to Wimbledon together this year though.
