Very interesting article, yet another Brit moving to Saddlebrooks, lol. Boggo has set the precedent for a British tennis invasion of Florida !
I'm a little bit worried for the LTA. They've got this massive new training centre in Roehampton but who's going to be using it ! All our top players [Andy M, Boggo, Mackin, Jamie M, Kasiri, Baker] are basing themselves in the States and our top U18 is based in Spain
The article really highlights how far Jamie has come this year - from 288 to 77. I had forgotten how low he was ranked at the start of 2006.
By the way, I haven't copied this article here because there's a note at the bottom on the Herald site saying that copying the article either in part or in full is striclty prohibited [Steven, maybe it might be a good idea to send a message to Anna]
Boggo said that he will mix between the 2, so when he is in the states and preparing for events there he will use saddlebrooks, and when he is in the uk for european ones etc will use roehampton.
he also mentioned that gilbert will have a court at bolliteri i think, so they can go there rather than over to california to train with him.

And the girlies too. Apart from Naomi, most of the big names are moving to the States.
I like it. I am strictly against top players training in Britain.
.....so he might come out of this with a new doubles partner.......I'd imagine hitting against the Brians would force you to become a good team with whoever else is out there with them......
........and we might see some 007 sewage chest bumping in the new year?

I noticed that too, but I think you'll actually find that all articles on newspaper websites are covered by restrictions like this (but usually in smaller print) and we should be just linking to them. After all, if they have good articles, they want them to attract people to their website.
Having said that though, I can't see a newspaper chasing a tennis fansite that's clearly not for profit over something as trivial as this.

*holds hand up*
My fault. I just took it that as long as you link the article and don't try and claim credit you can post up. My mistake.
As for Jamie - it can only help his game playing against the Bryans, and will hopefully do his confidence some good as well. Just wonder what his plans are for next year - whether he'll try and get a regular partner *cough*Auckland*cough* or if he'll continue as he's been doing and play with a few different guys.
