British Tour - Nottingham - 11-18 Nov

The line-up in this week's British Tour event looks interesting.
Dan C could get his revenge over Dan S.  Dan E could stake his claim for top junior.
And maybe Dan J and Dan O could launch a surprise.

1 Tom Burn
2 Dan Cox
3 John McGahon
4 Sean Thornley
5 Dan Jewitt
6 Daniel Oppe
7 Dan Evans
8 Maniel Bains

13 Josh Milton
14 David Rice
17 Dan Smethurst

This British Tour, are ranking points available or is it for pride?

Is it possible that Cox has been promised a wild card into Shrewsbury?

He will be really tired if he attempts to qualify for it after playing here.

I think that Smethurst has a good chance of becoming a top 100 player if he works hard. It looks like he isn't bothered about Junior tennis.

There's no ranking points for the British Tour; not ATP ranking points at least.

I presume there is prize money though, so it's not just playing for pride.

It will be interesting to see how Evans, Smethurst, Milton & Bains do against the likes of Tom Burn.

Feel sad to see that Cox isn't playing. Has he left for the US? Or maybe he will play Shrewsbury.

Good win from Smethurst. Will be great to see a Evans vs Smethurst/Milton final.

Both Cox and Smethurst are from Lancashire, so they have an equally strong claim.
