Lol, when Cox-mania sweeps the country in years to come, and he's the last Brit remaining in Wimbledon, I will step forward and sell my story to the Mirror claiming to be his long-lost cousin
People at my club are convinced I'm related to him, it's bizarre how so many people don't realise that Cox is such a common surname

I was in the top 20, under 15s in Herts a few years ago. Might have been higher but I didn't play enough LTA tournaments.
I've played 3 guys in the top 20 U18s in Herts, I took a set off the no 12 who's 5.2 and I beat the guy who's no 19.
It was funny in the summer as people had read the Wimbledon results on ceefax/in the newspaper and had seen that a D Cox had reached round 2.
For some bizarre reason people assumed it was me and I got several coming up and congratulating me I was like come on now, you really have no idea of the standard in the junior tournaments at Wimbledon ! You've seen me play - do I look like I could beat players in the world's top 50 juniors !
Sounds like more money into the same cohort of kids at the moment. If the LTA can increase participation and grab a few more Michael Bouldings with less family support perhaps symbiosis is possible?
