Hopefully there'll be better results than last week !! Both going out in rd1 was pretty dire, as this one is a grade 4, one of them should reach the final.

My guess is that as she's down to the last 6 she has successfully qualified!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rd2:

A Fitzpatrick [GB][8] v J Kasler

H Watson [GB][q] v E Vierra [16]


Seguso is 15 and is ranked 706. Best results are a couple of quarters in G4s. Has no senior ranking, played three 10K qualies so far, best performance was making final round back in June. Should be easy for Jade.

I think Heather beat her 6-4 6-0 at the same event last year (in qualifying though). She's defending R16 points she needs to win to maintain her rank. 

I haven't seen her play before. She won the 14&U Junior nationals earlier this year. She's been at the Bolletteiri Academy for a while now and they seem to rate her as a pretty decent prospect.

Irritatingly, the USTA site is undergoing maintenance so we're unable to find out last night's rd2 results
