Just in case there's anyone who still wants to take the Slovakians on at their own game, here are some tips on how to enter (most of this is probably obvious even if you don't understand a word of the Slovakian, but a few things may not be):
The winner of the competition gets about £53 (3000 Slovak koruna) to spend, with 2nd and 3rd getting 2/3 and 1/3 of that respectively - not sure if it's on betting or just on getting tips off the tipos.sk site, but I think it's fair to say we're doing this for fun and not for the prizes!
Play starts at 10 GMT, so if you want to be able to predict all of today's matches, you need to get in fast.
2) Fill in the registration form at the bottom of the page (Meno = first name, Priezvisko = surname, Mesto = place (town/city or country if you prefer))
3) Check your email to find your password.
4) Go back to http://www.tbopen.tipex.sk/index.php?info=ok&p=sutaz#obsah and decide who will win each match (N.B. when you have logged in, you will still see the betting odds, which in some cases are clearly wrong, but you won't see the probabilities, so if you want to use the probabilities to help make your decisions, make your decisions before you log in)
5) Log in at the top.
6) For each match, click on Tipnut 1 if you think the first player will win, Tipnut 2 if you think the 2nd player will win.
7) What I'm not sure of is whether you get +1 for a correct prediction and -1 for an incorrect prediction (I thought that's what it said initially) or if the points you get depend on the (dodgy) odds - that should become obvious once we have some results though.
8) In the middle table, Vysledok = result.
9) In the bottom table, I assume OK/KO are just the numberr of correct and incorrect picks, while Body definitely means points.
