RE: Week 46 : Dnepropetrovsk Challenger

Marach has withdrawn from Bratislava with an ankle injury - that may make one withdrawal here. . .

Greg is now two places away from getting into the main draw, it looks as though he's definately going to be competing here He surely would have withdrawn by now if he wasn't planning on playing.

Looks like Martin Lee will be making his return from injury this week, either here or in Helsinki qualifying. Given that he's been out of action for 4 [?] weeks, maybe it would be best for him to go for Helsinki.

I believe that Jamie Murray will be entering the doubles here. Not Auckland though, he's going for Helsinki.

Is that including the SE spots ?....so unless they are filled...he is in ?

The two SE spots haven't been taken off yet so if they're removed; Greg will be in.

We have to hope that Cervenak, Luzzi and Mertinak all lose today in Bratislava otherwise they'll all be eligible for one of the SE spots.

Jonny Marray has drawn an unranked Ukrainian WC in the first round, Ivan Ivanov.

Likely to have another game later in the day .

Nice easy first round match for Jonny. He's 4th on, at about 3pm our time.

Jonny is the 4th seed in qualies. In rd2 he'd face either Maksim Bakunun or Tomsz Bednarek.

Great draw for Greg - he's got Kenneth Carlsen - he leads him 5-0 in the H2H and there is no player on the tour whom he has a better record against.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear for Boggo though - he has Sluiter AGAIN! - the 4th time in 7 weeks!

The winner of Greg's match will play (6) Koubek or Economidis, with (2/WC) Volandri the other seed in the bottom quarter of the draw.

The winner of Boggo's match will play Korolev or Choke-dinelli followed probably by (1/WC) Tursunov.

This is a ridiculously strong field for a Challenger!
