Talk about our esteemed host changing his name to Ultimate GabashviliFan has led me to think about something that's been bothering me for some time.
Isnt the very nature of the Ultimate Fan that you are loyal to the object of your fandom forsaking all others and in all ways being worthy of recognition over all other Fans?
Our host has so far to my knowledge been USlabbaFan, U FlemingFan, UBoggo Fan, now U Mackin Fan, there may well have been others surely proving he is actually less the Ultimate fan more a floozy who passes his support around from player to player based on whoever is doing well that week, rather like a butterfly has no loyalty to any particular flower.
I propose therefore that he be banned from describing himself as the Ultimate anything Fan until he can maintain his support through at least 3 weeks of bad results before moving on.
he is also a man u fan from down south, which surely means he only supports winners and backs up Blades above statments, (even tho man u arent going to win anything this year either.)
The butterfly is quite a good one, but so is ultimateficklefan.

I was thinking he could call himself J-Lo, then I read:
"Jennifer Lopez. She's been married three times. In 1997 she married Ojani Noa. It lasted 13 months. In 2001 she married dancer/choreographer Cris Judd. It lasted 8 months. She was also engaged to Ben Affleck. Currently, she is married to Marc Anthony. It's been more than a year now. A new record for Jen."
... and realised that she isn't fickle enough, U#F changes far more often than that!
Still, at least he doesn't have to contend with messy divorces!

unless everytime he's changed his persona its becuase he's found another fan to usurp him, thus turning his attention to a new player. tho somehow doubt too many bigger slabba fans...

Any Thoughts?
Oi Mr Tiger, what's this about a floozy !!! Just you wait till we meet up at one of those challengers !
By the way, you've missed out UltimateBakerFan, I believe I was him for a few days in May and UltimateGoodallFan did tempt me during the US Open
Also, I was UltimateSlabbaFan through about 5 months of not particularly good results
I will explain: basically, I support and root for all the British players but my elite [absolute favourite players] are: Murray, Boggo, Mackin, Baker, Fleming, Slabba and Emily Webley-Smith. The reasons why these selected players have received this ultimate honour: Boggo was the first British player [besides Tim and Greg] who I really started following and supporting, I've followed his results since August 2001, Murray was the 2nd - I started following him in July 2003. I think it'd be best not to go into the reasons why Webley-Smith is in there, I'm sure most can guess Murray and Webley-Smith aside, I have direct or indirect contact with all of those players in there and run websites for all bar Webley-Smith and as Bladetiger can testify, when you actually get to know a player and start chatting tennis more and more with them, you end up following their progress more keenly. The same with Kate Flory, she didn't really used to be a big fan of Nadal but since she's started working for his official website [and actually achieved the dream of millions of teenage girls worldwide and met him in person at least twice] she's become such a Rafanatic that her presence even on Murray sites is quite rare.
I do always really keep rooting for my fav players even through the bad times, as you can see with Slabba and Baker. And also, I haven't become UltimateBloomfieldFan even though Richard has had such success through October [and also, I'm sure I would have received a rollicking from m-j-d if I had done ]
I like to rotate between my elite, becoming UltimateMackinFan was also convenient as I wanted to see if one of the Mackin photos would load on imageshack.
Anyway, I really like Ultimateshedman at the moment, sounds kind of cool.

I think, back in the 1920's or so they used the word butterfly to describe someone who (in a romantic sense) used to flit from one love to another never settling on one for too long, these days we'd call the same sort of person a slut.
Anyway UltimateFickleFan seems to have been the general concensus although I think I did give the poll a week to run so maybe it will change.
Think Ultimateshedman will be excellent for the duration of the 40 days!!

Lol, you can tell he's an Arsenal fan. The bitterness of dropping yet another couple of points behind Man U and Chelsea at the weekend, speaking in that above post
I only support Man U because my mum comes from Manchester. All my relatives are massive Man U fans and used to watch them on a regular basis, Bobby Charlton used to live quite near them.
I've never been interested in supporting Arsenal or Chelsea as they're basically foreign teams [well Arsenal is anyway]. They ought to go and play in the French league. When I started following football in 1997, Arsenal was just packed to the brim with Frenchies and Chelsea regularly fielded teams with no english players. At least they're a lot better now, with 3 english players even though they have bought the title with Russian oil.
well im a chelsea fan (boooo!! i know!) i dont think money brings success, its up to the players to perform under a high quality manager. dont u all agree? same thing as people who are lawyers, they might be clever but they have to earn it! So U'shed'Fan, i expect u rot away in the shed for another 39 nights at least!
actaully its not bitterness about dropping behind chelsea/man u in the league, i think the league will finish chelsea, manu, arsenal, but still thats manu not winning anyhting. i think arsenal maybe get once of the cups, probably not european tho, since last year i think teams have worked out better how to play them and as a team they are as skilfull if not more than any other team (cept barca maybe) but they have no strenth or power, possibly whne baptisa settles that might help.
man u have been playing good football this year but i tstill think chelsea win even when we play crap style will pul through
