For some reason Anna Fitzpatrick is playing here, I've no idea why she's taken to playing junior tournaments instead of futures; unless she can't play any more senior tournaments this year ?
She plays 14th seed Brittany Augustine in rd1. If Anna plays here best tennis, I'd say that she has a great chance of winning this tournament.
Maybe Jade's a little rusty from lack of matches, she's only played twice since the US Open at the beginning of September and lost both matches. Maybe she's been injured or she could have had a training block.
I don't think she should play lower grade juniors, she's ranked 95 so she shouldn't really be playing any tournaments lower than G2 and anyway they wouldn't really make much difference to her ranking. Hopefully she can find some form ahead of the orange bowl
