it was good to see al come through a tight match here, shame he let it go to that TB, but at least he didnt drop his head and let it slip.
sluiter will be a much tougher prospect tho, i am sure he will be wanting revenge for a few weeks ago and i'm sure there will be DC thoughts running through his head as well.
to be honest even if al cant find a way through here its not too bad, as long as he plays well, and can keep the form into nottingham he should be happy. i think he will have to play shrewsbury regardless of other results b4 then as he has that huge chunk to drop off and no one likes to see that.
as these courts are much faster i wonder who that will suite well, from what we have been seeing matches can turn very quickly and there appear to be sizable speels of domination by players.

These are worked out that Gremelmayr is dropping 35 points this week, Roitman is dropping 42 points, and Pless is dropping 35. If Pless goes further in this tournament is may affect a few of the rankings
Boggo's mathc agaisnt Sluiter is not before 5pm kolding time.. i beleive thats 4 pm UK time! Hope he can repeat the form he showed when he beat Sluiter in Mons.
out of interest Llodra vs Norman is currenly on court... should finish by 4 so we can hope for a 4 or just after start! Norman took first set but Llodra serving for second set as I write...
