at least he can take some "postives" from the match...he was able to compete and almost beat the world number 4......he's beaten verdasco and ferrer this week..both top 30 players.
Heres hoping he gets a good draw in Basel next week..dont think he'll be seeded though
I feel terible inside...what a sad day for henmna...this win would have been huge to tiger..and he chokes...hopefull yit dosnt hurt his confidence and he keeps playin good in the future
it said on the BBC, that nalby and tim has an argument when the scores were 5-5 in the third. dont know what the real problem was. all that tim said was that if someone wants to go down that road, there would only be one winner out of it.
i wonder what he meant by that, if only SKY showed his match, we would have known.

The beeb article is saying that the argument was because at 5-5 15-30 Nalby's first serve was called out but both players admitted they thought it was in, but Tim didn't say anything so Nalby got a second serve instead of playing a let. Nalby after the match then accused Tim of being ungentlemanly and unsportmanlike and the quote you have was Tim's response and Nalby doesn't have a reputation as being the most gentlemanly of players himself, just look at some of his matches with Hewitt to name but one!

Henman and Hewitt being friends just rubs more salt in the wounds. What fool would give him another first serve when he was not sure if it was in and at 15-30, 5-5 in the third set. My respect for Nalby has gone down the tank. Why should he care, he won anyway.
