Loads of Brits in Mexico qauly tornaments over the past month.


So far only Simon CHilds qualified but he won a main draw match as well that week so good for him.

Brits appearing...


John Rambotas (no world ranking) (LTA ranked 3.1) (Never progressed beyond last 32 of any qualifying tournament he has ever entered.) (Usually loses badly)


James Southwood (unranked anywhere) (qualified for Finland F2 earlier this year)


Christopher Harfield (unranked anywhere) (qualified for Sengal F1 earlier this year)


Simon Childs (no mens world ranking) (made 158 as a junior)

Childs lost 46 75 64 to Italian FAVA who was seeded 8 in qualifying.


Harfield lost 63 62 to Daminac Duenno of italy (also unranked)


Southwood lost 63 36 63 to Derek Schwant (USA) (also unranked)


Rambotas WON 62 62 over Roberto Cabrini of Brazil (also unranked)

Rambotas WON 62 61 over Javier Millan of Mexico (also unranked)

Rambotas vs Neilly (USA) (3) (1001) Tough one but in this form you never know!

Just noticed that Rambotas is further into a tournament than ever before having made the last 16. Well done to him. Lets hope he qualifies.

Don't know the score yet but Neilly is now in main draw so John must have lost to him

It was pretty comfortable for Neilly, he won 6-2, 6-1
