Quite a weak field, could make it through with a good draw. Should be seeded.

Australia - Melbourne 25K


Lucy Fletcher has qualified!!!!!


She beat Aussie Stephanie MacFarlanne 61 61 to begin with.


Then she beat aother aussie Bianca Aquistapace 61 62.


Both easy wins.


Finally she took on 4th seed Margot Meddens of Netherlands ranked 756 and Lucy....


...prevailed 57 64 64.


Good on her!

Even better news is that she drew another unranked qualifier in the main draw.


A real chance to get some big points in this "challenger" event.


Opponent is Ellen Barry of NZL who also impressed in qualifying beating the 10th seed and the 2nd seed.


Come on Lucy!

CORDOBA 10k Qualifying.


Everyone has lost out except Aimee Jarrett who is in final qualifying round


vs 5th seed Sheila Solsona-Carcasona of ESPana.


Aimee beat 6th seed in first round so its a possible win for her
