Unfortunately there have been some disappointing results from the main draw here:

6th seed Alex Miotto lost in rd1 to Luxembourg's Laurent Bram [wr:1097] 6-4, 6-3.

Amadeus Fulford-Jones lost in rd1 to Russian lucky loser Artem Isaev [wr:1555] 6-2, 7-5.

James Feaver did extremely well to qualify but he lost to rd1 to the 4th seed Marcel Miron [wr:881] 6-2, 6-4.

Ed Seator lost to Feaver in the final qualies round but got a lucky loser place and took full advantage, beating Romanian qualifier Olivier Zsok [wr:1555] 7-6[6], 2-6, 6-3

Rd2:

Ed faced an unranked Romanian qualifier Viorel Ciobanu but lost 6-2, 6-1

I was hoping fulford-jones would at least make it to the seconde round in this event. He has quite a few points to defend in the next upcoming weeks, hopefully he will take full advantage at uganda and kenya.
