Hmm, not the best of days for Tim. No- one's overtaken yet, but Ramirez- Hidalgo has made a start on regaining the points he's defending; Lee and Garcia- Lopez both also advance behind Tim.
Today wasn't particularly good for Tim either. His three closest competitors (Ramirez Hidalfo, Mathieu and Serra) all advance to the second round and Monaco and Lopez were the only ones on the table behind him to go out. Keep the pins sticking and tomorrow I will bring detailed analysis of what could happen...

Karlovic and C Rochus both went out behind Tim. However, the two of his three greatest threast playing today both went through.
Ramirez Hidalgo is now only 8 points behind and Serra lies another 12 points behind him. If they both win their quarters they will overtake.
Five people can still overtake Tim this week, (Ram Hid, Serra, Mattieu all by winning next match, Lee and Melzer by winning their next two matches). Making the worst case scenario being a drop of 5 to 61, a drop of 3 overall.
Best case, no change at 56, a rise of 2 from last week. So get the pins working please!

Well, I've updated the table, and it's bad news for Tim I'm afraid.
Serra, Mathieu and Lee all overtake leaving him in 59th place.
Ramirez Hidalgo did lose which was excellent, but there is a new threat in town, in the form of melzer who can overtake by winning his semi. So pins into him please.
New worst case for Tim is to lose one more place and drop to 60, a fall of 2 from last week.
Best case, no change leaving him at 59, a drop of 1 place from last week.

table updated and it's more bad news unfortunately. Tim loses another place (this time to Melzer) to drop down to number 60, a drop of two places from last week.
On the plus side, he cannot lose anymore places this week as the only person on the table left in is Melzer, above him.
