In addition to this the thought is that he is persuing other career avenues and pro tennis is not one of them...really sad but I think he knew getting back from a ranking of 500+ was a tall order as his best days maybe...maybe were behind him ?
Oh right, thats a shame, i hope he does give it another go, once he recovers from his injury.
Simon Harston, whatever happend to him, i read somewhere that he wanted to get into the top 300, after his successful run in one of the british futures. He has like only played 2 or 3 times this season so far.

He's had lots of really close matches but has often just been edged out in tiebreaks. He was a promising junior but then decided to go and study at Bath university. He became a coach after graduating and decided to give tennis a go again last summer. After having so little success since last October, maybe he's run out of funds to play on the tour or maybe he just got frustrated at losing so many close ones and decided to return to coaching.
