Ned's a pretty good player, not sure whether he's be able to gain many world ranking points from his results so far but good luck to him. He's beaten guys like Richard Wire [2005 national junior champion] and Ross Connolly this year.

He beat unranked Frenchman Boris Vallejo 7-6, 6-3 in rd1 and Slovakia's Milan Petercak [ranked 1447] 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 in rd2.
In rd1 he plays 30 year old Iranian Saeed Ahmadvand who's ranked 1551 with just 1 ranking point so a great opportunity for Ned to get his first point
