Ned Boone is one of Alex Slabinsky's friends from Sutton. He could have chosen a safer place to play futures qualies !!!

Is he any good though?

Dalton is one of our top ranked juniors isn't he?

Yes, funny place to play. I bet they thought it'd be easy!

Yeah Dalton is one our top juniors, he's ranked 235 and reached of high of 144 earlier this year. Not had much success in futures qualies yet.

Ned's a pretty good player, not sure whether he's be able to gain many world ranking points from his results so far but good luck to him.
He's beaten guys like Richard Wire [2005 national junior champion] and Ross Connolly this year.

Just seen that he's qualified for the main draw

He beat unranked Frenchman Boris Vallejo 7-6, 6-3 in rd1 and Slovakia's Milan Petercak [ranked 1447] 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 in rd2.

In rd1 he plays 30 year old Iranian Saeed Ahmadvand who's ranked 1551 with just 1 ranking point so a great opportunity for Ned to get his first point

Ned's not going to have many better opportunities than that to gain his first ranking points
