Nadal played in his first Wimbledon final on Sunday French Open champion and Wimbledon runner-up Rafael Nadal escaped unhurt after being involved in a car crash in Spain on Monday. Nadal, 20, returned home to Mallorca on Monday after losing to Roger Federer in Sunday's Wimbledon final.
The car in which he was travelling hit an electricity pylon in Manacor, according to Spanish media.
Local radio station IB3 reported the accident had caused power cuts in the Portocristo area of the island.
