15K event on Clay

David Brewer has done well to come through qualifying here beating Thomas Kromman (Den) WR 1528 6-0,6-2 and Andrea Alviano (Ita) WR 1425 6-3,6-1.

Unfortunately his "reward" is a first round against the 2nd seed Ivan Cerovic (Cro) WR 412. Hopefully David is starting to find his best form again after a poor year, and can run his opponent close.

David also appears in the doubles as a wild card entry with Sam Burns (USA).

Outstanding result on clay for David, and another world ranking point.

David and partner lost 6-2 6-4 in the first round of the doubles - hopefully just saving himself for round 2 of the singles vs Stefano Ianni (Ita) WR 590
