We have six teams in the doubles (five wildcards and a qualifier:Bamford/May)


Three of the teams are playing their first round tomorrow:


J Goodall/R Hutchins play Rochus/Wawrinka 3rd on court 4
J Murray/C Fleming play Lopez/Verdasco 3rd on court 16
N Bamford/J May play Aspelin/Perry [8] 1st on court 17

Our qualifiers Bamford & May just saved one match point at 4-6, 3-6, 2-5 against the number 8 seeds.  I can't see the game going on much longer though. 3-5* &  0-30* in the third.


....0-40*......15-40*.....GSM Aspelin & Perry 64,63,63.

They hold a tricky one: 5-3*... now 30-30 on the Rochus serve...30-40*.....Deuce......MATCH POINT.......:grin!!!!!

We have another doubles team in the second round, Auckland/Delgado won their match against the 14th seeds earlier today. It took five sets but a win is a win.


They play Starace/Zovko in the second round.


Unfortunately, Lee/Marry lost to Fisher/Reynolds.

Goodall/Hutchins won the first set on a tie-break. It`s currently 4-3 in the second. They saved a break point in the last service game.

They went 0-15 and 15-30 and break point down in the last service game and eventually were broken on the third break point . Santoro/Zimonjic will now serve for the set.
