Alex and Kostantinos won 6-2, 6-4 in rd1 of the doubles but lost in 3 sets 6-1, 1-6, 6-1 in the quarters.

Alex's rd1 loss in the singles was really dreadful, his opponent was 17, unranked and had only played 3 pro matches before and had never won a main draw match. I can only think that Alex was ill or something. Alex has now been away from GB for 6 weeks and having not seen a coach for that length of time will mean that his fitness and form will have dipped slightly. I think he's returning home for another training block after Holland F3
