How many of the ones who don't get the wildcard will be able to enter qualifying? will some of them get wildcards into qualifying? I think Martin Lee deserves the wildcard, and if he gets it he can have some much needed rest before Wimbledon and come to the first round fresh, unlike at Queens (although Vicente took a set off Hewitt yesterday so perhaps wasn't as bad as we all thought!)

Encouraging win for Colin Fleming given how well Lee childs was playing in the grass qualies a week ago!

I think Alan Mackin may be a dark horse for the wildcard playoff victory. He always seems to play well on the green stuff even though he claims to prefer the clay despite always losing on it!

My heart is also with Martin Lee. To be honest I'm sick of Parmar being good enough to beat all the other Brits but no one else. I wish He'd retire and let the rest get on with it. Harsh I know, but what's he actually ever done other than be the best of the rest.

off track slighty but  no point oeniong a new thread but good news, i have found a article confrimiong that philipoo will not be getting a wimby wc . excert from guardian online.

LONDON, June 14 (Reuters) - Former Wimbledon finalist Mark Philippoussis wants to prove his worth at the Stella Artois Championships this week after the All England Club declined his request for a wildcard into the grasscourt grand slam.
"I got an e-mail a couple days ago saying that I didn't get one," the Australian, who was runner-up to Roger Federer in 2003, told reporters on Wednesday.
"You got to earn your wildcards and I've been very fortunate to have a lot and I know that.

YESSSSSSSSS! Nothing for Philippoussis at Wimbledon this year! Finaly the wildcard people see sense. They've given their token australian wc to Alicia Molik in the women's draw.

Also looks like Jamie Delgado may spoil the party. He'll proably face Martin Lee in wildcard playoff semis! Could be an epic!

Go Colin Fleming against Parmar today!

I'm hoping for a Mackin vs Lee final and a decision to give them both a wildcard. If Parmar wants to play at Wimbledon he is more than capable of qualifying. He'll have a better chance then anyway.
