On the points defence, has the calendar moved slightly on the womens side?
Mika won Birmingham last year, but nothing showing as to defend.
I'm wondering about Wrexham the week after as well.

Birmingham and Wrexham are the same weeks as last year. Points for both drop on 26 October.

The WTA Asian swing is a week later this year than last.

Cheers - Mimi and Mika have a lot to defend.

Might go to the Birmingham final again if there is British individual involvement.

FWIW Hannah has no ranking points to defend until next year. So there could be a bit of a reordering of our young current GB #8, 9 and 10.

Blimey. Two names I wasn't expecting to see on a WTA125 entry list any time soon. Soumeya Anane (WTA 1145) and Jizel Matos Sequeira Fernandes (UNR) have made it in to the doubles entry list in Italy.

I see that Henry is down to join Felix and Jay for a second week of Sicily Challenger clay court tennis.

Just to say again, Hannah has been accepted into Lisbon qualifying. This means she cannot play Birmingham.

Good luck Hannah. Seems to be quite comfortable on clay.

Except I see from the week 40 thread that Henry and Felix are out of the first week.

I think it's Jizel's first WTA125 but Soumeya has played at least 4 and has won matches in at least 2.

Yes, but we're they're ranked now they shouldn't be getting anywhere near getting into the advanced entry list for a 125, that was the point
