In Maia and Harriet's match no one is really missing from the back of the court.

Their opponents have a combined singles ranking of 123 (77+46), almost the same as Harriet and Maia's doubles ranking of 121 !

H&M play the 6th seeds Bucsa/Melichar-Martinez next.

O&T under way shortly. If they win they play the Kichenok sisters in R2.

Liv and Tereza facing another early grand slam exit, at this point it has to be starting to effect them because its a common occurrence right?

Yes, and it's also another opportunity for a decent-paycheck lost as - like singles - it's the Grand Slams that pack a punch

I see that the Willians sisters were beaten by (14) Chan & Joint by 6-3 6-7(6) 7-6[10-7] on Ashe last night in 3 hours snd 2 minutes.

The following 4 set win by Shelton over Shapovalov finished at 2.07 am local time.

Finish times for the last 4 nights (in reverse order) have been 2.07, 2.15, 1.05 and 1.55am. These ridiculous times are no longer the exception but have become the norm!!
