It looked really windy out there and I didn't tune in until near the end of the third set but windy conditions really highlight problems with footwork, you need to adjust and keep adjusting right up to the last second and Toma was better at that
It was a shame, given she'd been in the lead but it was a horror of a tiebreak from Millie

Jodie leads 6-2 3-2* and the players have left the court. Not sure why, as it doesn't appear to be raining and a youngster iappears to be practising on the court.

Looks like they actually moved it to another court as the scoreboard is ticking over.

Very pleased Mika is back this week after her extended summer break. Hopefully Hannah can maintain her good form from July/August too

Has Sofia finished in US collegiate system now because I'd have thought most colleges would be back by now?

Sofia's been a pro for a year having graduated last year. She went through the US collegiate system a year young and being a June birth almost 2 years younger than some of her peers.

Thanks Lambda, I couldn't remember the last time she played outside the US so I thought she was still there more recently than that

Sofia+ got a relatively easy win over their higher ranked opponents in doubles
