We have our first with Louis Bowden (Baylor) winning both singles and doubles titles at the ITA National Summer Championships. With the titles he earns main draw wild cards to the ITA All American Championships at the end of next month.
For context, the National Summer Series through which they qualify for the Summer Championships is played by fairly low level players.

Thanks Lambda - thats great. My own personal view is we should have a separate thread for the NCAA Individual events to track the 4 qualifying events and the finals between September and November. As opposed to just getting lost in college chat. Either a thread per event like we do for the main tour individual events. Or a single thread covering all 5 events. It would make it easier to go back in future years as a resource for those interested?
What do you think? You are the main poster in these threads so my suggestion is it is your call.

A very healthy representation in the pre-season and newcomer rankings from our women who outdo the rather poor showing from the men for maybe the first time in history? Tegan (LSU) misses out on being ranked, but I'm sure she wasn't far away.

If they're good enough and can adapt to college tennis then they stand as much chance as others, though they may need to get there through the latter pathways as most I think will need to go through qualifying at the All-Americans.
