It's been a shame for Morgan as since his fantastic tournament success in Italy he's had a couple of really tough draws and hasn't been able to capitalise further on the confidence gained from that week.

Congrats to Charlie Crisp for getting his 4th win of the year, at the start of 2006 he was listed in stevegs "time to get a day job" awards for his losing streak which stretched back to 2004. He was slightly unfairly bracketed with Lownsbrough, Brighten and Dee, Charlie is definately a better player than either of those 3.

Surprisingly, there were no British representatives in the doubles this week. I wonder if John McGahon's decided to stay clear of mushrooms for a few weeks
