There was a ( backdated ) ATP 04/08/25 rankings update last year including the Toronto Masters so ATP points are due to drop off.

I recall it all being rather confusing last year with the first year of the Canada and Cincinnati Masters covering a 3 week period. Ultimately the ATP backdated and then had no 11/08 rankings update whilst the WTA had no 04/08 rankings update.

See what happens this year. The North American calendar has shifted back a week for Canada, Cincinnati and the US Open.

Yes all a bit confusing. This point in calendar last year was week one of Canada so no points dropping off .

Toronto finished on the Thursday 07/08 and as I was saying the ATP then produced backdated rankings for 04/08. Toronto Masters points are thus due to drop on 03/08 this year, as for instance are Jan Choinski's German Challenger points for this week last year.

Jack showing as having a wild card for Washington. I guess we will wait and see how fit he actually is to play or whether this was offered ahead of his Wimbledon withdrawal.

I get Katie wanting to remain in the US near her home and the draw of big points in Washington and the tournament in Lexington would've been against lower ranked players but from a rankings and match prep perspective I kind of wish she'd gone for the 125 in Vancouver where she'd have been in the main draw and against other people who would be in USO qualies or even entered qualies for the Memphis 250

Seeing the finalised list for Lexington makes me question this decision more, the Lexington draw isn't much (if any) stronger than Aldershot or Dublin with the highest rank being 251 and MDDA all the way down to almost WR500. A healthy Katie should be cruising through that field whereas they'd have to qualify and win a main draw match in Washington to beat the 75 points available in Kentucky
