Well that should really clinch a no to any outside chance Liam had of a Wimbledon MD WC if he's not competing on grass in the build-up.

Liam wasn't originally seeded, but was presumably "promoted" as the fourth & seventh seeds were replaced by lucky losers, of which there are two in the draw (on top of the three ALTs, of whom Liam of course played one).

 The two seed withdrawals were in the same quarter so Liam just hss the similarly promoted 9th seed in his quarter.
