The top seed in qualis has just been put out in the first round - by a player who's never won a match at RG before, I believe

Gives hope to everyone else - it can be done

Bit of controversy on the point leading to set point. I think Yuan grunted as Harriet's first serve landed in the corner and Harriet thought it had been called out and almost stopped playing.

15 mins of controversy - tournament referee there for ages - lots of arguing and gesticulating

NB I thought Harriet had seen the ball out - but I was watching Toby at the same time so not sure
