Katie lost 7-6(3) 7-6(2) but I thought played pretty well. Indoors probably helps her a little in her difficulties with the surface, but she was trying to work points patiently and moving alright, certainly better than we've seen in the past. Ruse not the strongest opposition obviously but still, for Katie on clay this wasn't bad at all.
Yes I thought she played well too and it was soo.. close! A real shame I dont know who the commentator was but he was really annoying - just talked too much and stated the obvious!
