Poor Rincon will be fed up of Toby Samuel. Thats the 4th time hes beaten him since the beginning of February!
Ha, just spotted that. Each time previously has been straight sets and in each match Rincon runs him close (this time won) in set one before Toby dominates the next set (s).
Things were not looking great for Toby when he was 4-3 and a break down in the third. This was a very close match. Sakelleridis did not play a great final set tie break.
Great battling win from Toby. Tuned in a bit towards the end and he had a very loud and vocal crowd of supporters on the balcony roaring him on - did he go to an academy in Barcelona?
The Greek fell apart a bit in the deciding tiebreak, while Toby played a very, very solid breaker
Toby wins a very, very close first set 9-7 in the TB. Service games were won quite easily, each player having only a single BP. Schwaezler made 4 forehand UEs in the breaker, more than he would be happy with.
At 5-5 in the breaker with Toby serving, he attacked a short ball with his forehand but put it long. He hit a ball out of the club and received a code violation. He saved the set point with a fabulous return of serve. This match could go either way.
