Thanks to DF for the Friday update and here are the runners and riders as we move into the end of week 1 of 5

Nominations list:

1. Isaac Sallu - won the national under 16 boys singles, entered as a wild card and won the whole thing, without losing a set. Excellent performance and he hails from Ilkley area, so not bad on all fronts

2. Liam Broady - won the Challenger 50 title in Miyazaki (wonder if Lily sent him a congrats message?!) with a win over Harry w in the final; hes third challenger title of his career, first since 2023 and it takes him into the top 250 in the live rankings as of writing. Well done, Liam!

definitely fair - I think I felt Isaacs achievement was just more unexpected, whether that makes it better is another question to be voted on!

Into week 2 of 5 now. Hoping we see this month as a bit of a bounce back to the PoM months of old ( I remember months when we ended up with semis as well as finals due to the numbers of nominations, dont anticipate that now! Jumpers for goalposts!?).

Remember, anyone can nominate from any level of the game - main tour, challenger/125, ITF, juniors, nationals, wheelchair, disability. All can count!

4. Sofia Johnson - the 21 yo ex college player significantly stepped up her still very early tour career with a USA W35 title from qualifying, beating WRs 471 and 470 in the SF and final. Takes her to 64 points from 7 counters, to live ranked 671 and GB #24.

Sofia our only player with multiple months nominations - and now she has three. Player of the season so far? Probably not, but great start to the year

Yes, I can see that list being at least double after the weekend.
