Paul and Harry had a little run of matches against each other. Sheffield in Feb, Harry won in 3. Just two weeks ago in Greece challenger, Paul won very comfortably in 2.

Paul had a MP at 6-5* advantage to him in the 3rd set in an overall 3 hours 29 minutes match.

Lost track of this event, thanks for the updates. I feel quite sad that Paul just hadnt lived up to the undoubted talent. Injury in large part. He has worked hard and can still probably be higher than he is, but other Brits have swept passed him.

Good luck to Harry and Liam in the QF round - Liam can beat the 7th seed and Harry ditto re the other Japanese and then, as far as I can tell, they would meet in the semis. Kwon of Korea feels like the big danger but hopefully one of the two Brits can get a couple more wins at least

Harry, of course, has already reached a final in a challenger this month, in Greece when he lost to Toby in that final. He then went down to Paul easily the following week, so this weeks win is a measure of revenge.

If they get to meet, Liam and Harry don't appear to have played each other before, at least not on ITF or ATP tour levels.

Quite a hammering for Liam - Harry keeps the flag flying in mens singles then. Come on, Harry - its him and 3 Japanese players left in!

Harry must have been defending points from a similar level event last year, as a RU spot this week will keep him steady in the rankings, it seems?
