Sad to see Ranah here and losing in R1.

She is potentially so very much better than she has displayed of late. But I gather she has generally received little support from the establishment and it looks like her confidence has maybe been ebbing away.

I really do hope that she finds ways to turn things around.

I think 15s is a sensible choice but I'm slightly surprised at the decision to come to Turkey for clay, rather than Sharm on hard (or doing a couple of 35s in Tunisia and staying for when it goes back to 15s for a couple more weeks).

Shame.

 Good question. The main ITF website says the tournament is cancelled, but the live scores page shows the matches that were posted this morning. I see that the ITF Masters due to be held in Turkey next week has been cancelled for safety reasons, so I presume this tournament is cancelled as well, as is the concurrent mens M15.

Next week's tournament is also cancelled.
