Well past couple of weeks anyway. He hadn't won this season before last week and after his Rotterdam defeat I read a suggestion that he ( and Billy ) maybe needed a break and a reset.

Good to see now and tbf his early season defeats were hardly horrendous looking and were to top 200 players.

 Sun on his back and slower courts here in Doha. As opposed to cold winter and indoors. Change is as good as a rest as they say

 Jan up 5-4 final set, albeit GMP serving. Jan has been in this all the way.
