Just for info, the top 2010-born girl, Jana Kovackova, who is a little slip of a girl and JR 9, is playing the adult event here, as is her sister, a couple of years older. Both with wildcards.

Jana has played a lot in the UK, and been commented on a lot in the juniors, as a youngster with great vision and skills, but very volatile. And the sisters' doubles can be pretty amusing too (they've won three Grand Slam junior championships but siblings are siblings.....)

Jana won her R1 match, beating Rame WR 200, 6-2 6-2

Alena is 17 and JR5. Jana is 15 and JR9. They won the AO Junior doubles this year. I'm sure CD knows plenty about them !

For the addict, brought down from the top of the page, for the addict above

NB Jana is through to the SFs in singles - she's just beaten two top-200 players
