Anyway, interesting how some sites wont load here for some reason. Im sure its fine in the UK, but the ITF website wont work at all. A couple of others consistently wont load but they seem to be financial ones. No idea why ITF is affected.
If it is accessible in the UK, be interested if someone could check the tournie link in the post above and see how Alfie and Gordon have got on in their opening event so far (and post the outcomes!)

Its the Victorian Open this week, another 500 event and taking place across mens, womens and quad.
In womens and quad, Lucy Shuker and Greg Slade lost early, Greg surprisingly as he was seeded two, to Australian up and coming star Wenzel.
In mens, however, Gordon Reid bounced back from last weeks injury and is into the semis where he plays Japanese Miki, who upset de la Puente, in the last 8.
Next week is the Melbourne Open which is a 1000 level event, similar status to the Masters 1000 level on ATP/WTA. AO wheelchair takes place in week 2 of the main AO.
How did Gordon get on in the final this week though?
Oh yes, sadly he lost in 3 sets. 4-6 6-3 1-6. Good that he got himself back to the final after retiring the week before and hopefully it bodes well for himself and Alfie being challengers in the doubles.
Great results in Melbourne today in the 1000 level event.
Quads - Greg Slade won in straight sets
Womens - Ruby Bishop joined the draw and won her opener as did Lucy Shuker (wr 15) who caused a mild upset over Tanaka, wr 12
Mens - Ben Bartram (wr 17) caused an upset over WR 11, Ji of China. Ben had a losing record against Ji and this was a really big surprise.
Excellent start for the Brits in this final pre AO event.
