Big match for Mimi as regards Aussie Open Qualifying. Another win would give her 312 points, which would put her to a live ranking of 233. Given that some Aussies above that will get wildcards into the main draw, and that there are bound to be a few withdrawals, a ranking position of around 233 might just be good enough.

Fingers crossed for Mimi tomorrow - she is having a good end of season and progressing nicely.

That was a very good win, though her opponent was obviously getting very tense at the end with a succession of DFs giving Mimi several match points, Mimi took it at her 4th attempt. Mimi's next opponent looks easy by comparison with a ranking and CH below Mimi's.
