Technical issues accessing Board


I wondered if anyone else had some issues the past few days - I keep getting a 502 Bad Gateway message and am blocked out for a half an hour here or there and its happened the past two evenings,

It seems to resolve itself but I wondered if anyone else had it and was it me or was it some issue with this forum server?

 Im not technical but it sounds like this warning comes when the server is unstable or has some capacity constraints. Whether that is something to worry about re the board hosting, I have no idea!

Same here. The other day I was unable to access the board to log out - I was still logged in when I started my laptop the next morning.

From my experience it is in the evening. Not sure where Sparkit are based or if there is anything we (Sheddie!?) can check in terms of whether its likely to be ongoing issue? Or whether it matters!?

I have had this the last couple of evenings too. I have messaged Sheddie but, obviously he will only see that if he visits the board and I do not know how regular that is? Not sure what else we can do at this point unless anyone has an email address?

I don't know where Sheddie is from, but he visited about 8 hours ago - so around 2am our time.

The board is playing up again & has been all morning.  This time, in addition to the bad gateway message, I've been getting one from Sparklit saying that the technical staff was aware & working on the problem & to try again in two minutes, but of course, when I do, the same message comes up!

I have had the sparklit messages a lot this morning. Seems a little better now. I wonder if we should set up a closed group on say, Facebook or another online platform in case activeboard completely packs up and we have to change the domain and start again.

Some form of external group would be good - it would be a shame to lose all contact if there is a major breakdown.

I dont have a Facebook account or have ever used it but happy to have a back up plan should we need one. I wonder if for now, its possibly for Sheddie to collate all the members email addresses ( I know he can access them) and have them ready as a list to email should this board fail?
