I always remembered Aguilar being Bolivian, a while since I have seen his name, tbh. Seems he transferred to Canada in 2019 though

Ben sailing towards another title? Hes at a ranking now in doubles and singles where maybe a choice needs making? Feels like he could be a contender for much higher things in doubles, main tour level, but presumably is hanging around snapping up M25 titles at will because hes still trying to make it in singles?

He's been in this position for quite some time to be honest.

Fair - hes 27. feels to me that is a good age to think about where his career goes. Make decent money and win some decent titles, play slams - in doubles. Or hang around the ITF events for singles?

I see he also has ulcerative colitis - which cant be easy to manage on tour. Good luck to him.

Ive been thinking much the same for a few months now. It must be tough giving up on the singles dream, but you have to be cutthroat with yourself. Hes never going to make it in singles, but I could see him getting up to a Luke J type level in 2-3 years if he goes for it.

Exactly. Id go for it but agree it must be hard.

Charlie Broom is the other one Id say needs to have a think. I know his singles high is higher than Ben, hes currently mid 300s. Hes been to 120 or so in doubles and could be higher if he focused. Same age as Ben. Maybe more case to carry on singles, but he isnt progressing and I dont think he will. He could easily be a top 100 doubles player, top 50
