We are almost at the first weekend in October, 1 of 5, so it is also time to kick this on, as the vote for September takes place
Straight on with the next nominations process; the period ends Sunday 2nd November, another 5 week process. This month it will really be 5 weeks, not almost 6!! Remember, anyone can nominate at anytime. Just add to the latest version of the list by putting a name and a reason.
In terms of October, we just have Mika in a final today. But it is a big one for her and a second W35 title would be great, with some British tournies to come over the next few weeks.
This month has 5 weeks for nominations and lots of time ahead for a great list to develop!!

Yes, singies has been a washout this week in singies in both seniors and juniors with just Mika left unless there is stray junior out there.
But a great week for Mika, being in that singies final and having already secured the doubles title. So I am sure one or two folk are poised for an opening October nomination, possibly win or lose today.

1 Rhys Lawlor (2009) - winning the singles title at the J100 in Greece. He's our #2 best player for the age (after Ceban) and this is his first title in 2025, and his best win ever
Ah, well done Rhys, and apologies for me earlier missing that he was in the final so another potential singles winner ( err, as I see is Mark Ceban in a J200 and Klara Sehnalova in a J30 - edit etc. ). And ultimately actual winner.
