L32:   Oliver Crawford WR 230 (CH = 190 in January last year) vs Marat Sharipov (***) WR 268 (CH = 243 in May)

This event is titled the Road to Shanghai Masters, presumably there is a wild card going to the winner of this for main draw or qualies?

Oliver getting increasing reward for such a good, consistent year.

He is now live ranked 183 ( live GB #6 ) against his January 2024 CH of 190. So virtually certain to set a new CH next Monday. He started 2025 WR 403!

 Good consistent year but not sure he's had any sort of stellar month. If he doesn't get in to PoS through PoM, I can see me nominating him for a WC.

Oliver is picking his schedule well - and why shouldn't he or any player - but interestingly he's had only three Top 200 wins this year. Not that any player should be judged on number of Top X wins as opposed to match wins, but is interesting for me in terms of the level they're playing at.

Evo was tied at 2-2 in the 3rd when he has had to retire by the looks of things. Hope nothing serious.
