Good to see Arthur back.

Hopefully he can build on the grass season.

QR1:  (ALT/q8) Arthur Féry WR 350 defeated Kris van Wyk (RSA) WR 454 by 4 & 5

*****

FQR:  (qWC) Kaylan Bigun (USA) WR 849 (CH = 765 in February) vs (ALT/q8) Arthur Féry WR 350

I wonder whether that's pronounced "big 'un" or "bigOON"...

Bigun is only 19 and beat the WR 334 Nakagawa in straights in the 1QR ...possible banana skin?

Definitely: he's a former Junior no.1 (and French Open jr champ). Went to college instead of turning pro I think, hence the low ranking. Should be an interesting test for Arthur!

Arthur thankfully sidestepped the big ol' Yankee banana skin & qualified:

FQR:  (ALT/q8) Arthur Féry WR 349 defeated (qWC) Kaylan Bigun (USA) WR 821 by 5-7 6-4 6-2  smile
