L32:  Tereza Mihalikova (SVK) & Joe Salisbury CR 54 (34+20) vs (5) Erin Routliffe & Michael Venus (NZL/NZL) CR 20 (3+17)

L32:  Olivia Nicholls & Henry Patten CR 36 (32+4) vs Alexandra Panova & Jackson Withrow (***/USA) CR 50 (26+24)

L32:  Ellen Perez (AUS) & Julian Cash CR 31 (15+16) vs Giuliana Olmos (MEX) & Lloyd Glasspool CR 54 (40+14)

I don't think I've seen so many Brits involved in the mixed before outside Wimbledon!

It's a 32 draw rather than the usual 16 draw for doubles.
Good to see Tereza playing with Joe - this could be a partnership for Wimbledon, as indeed some of the others look likely.

 It was a 32 pair mixed doubles draw here last year, which I would have thought was the norm for Slam mixed doubles.

 Ah sorry, got you though, as SC suggested, I think 5 GB pairs is indeed still rather more than usual?

I think 5 pairs is more than usual, but shouldn't be a surprise with so many top ranked men. I do think 8 wild cards in a draw of 32 is ridiculous, even if local fans will want to see French pairs.

Personally I would expect Henry & Olivia to win a Grand Slam sooner rather than later.

 Ha. Also Julian+ play Lloyd+ in R1 and Neal+ could play Joe+ in R2. So could be a number of normal partners seeking bragging rights.
