Just to note that the young French lad, destined - say some - to be the arch rival of Mark Ceban going forwards , has a wildcard into qualis here

Moise Kouame, born 2009

Down a set to Van De Zandschulp and losing in 2nd set. (Edit for spelling correction).

The name rang a bell, so I did a quick check:  he beat Toby Martin in three sets in Sharm (M15) at the  beginning of last month -

L16:  (JR) Moïse Kouamé (FRA) WR 1603 defeated Toby Martin WR 838 by 2-6 7-6(5) 7-6(3)

He was 15 at the time, but has now turned 16 & rose 131 places in this week's rankings to a career high 838.  He lost by 3 & 2 to van de Zandschulp (q6) in QR1.

The question is whether he'll get a wildcard to the main draw of RG ....

It's pretty certain he'll get a qualis WC - he really is the French leading light in juniors at the moment (girls and boys)

But I think the FFT might be itching to give a MD WC..... which would be quite something
