After two very disapppointing weeks on the Romanian clay, both Andy Kennaugh and Chris Eaton decided that they couldn't bear playing another tournament on it and withdrew from the entry list. I think they're both heading to Slovenia.

David Brewer entered for the main draw and was drawn against Romanian 5th seed Marcel Miron in rd1 [wr:763]. Miron won easily 6-2, 6-2

Charlie Crisp lost in rd1 of doubles.

David Brewer partnered Ireland's John McGahon in the doubles and they beat wildcards in rd1, 6-1, 6-1 to reach the quarters but they lost there to the 4th seeds.
