I think there's a fair chance Geoffrey will/has withdrawn from Kolbenz. I thought that was the plan as I was watching the match, they were clearly trying but the odds were ridiculous in the other teams favour as some people had thought they would just tank so I put on 10p to win 35p back at the start of the first set TB.
Anyway there is no final match listed on the drawsheet and the match has been removed from tomorrow's OOP so there must be a fair chance Dan plays Geoffrey tomorrow.
I wonder what Dan is thinking and what his plan is? Surely he wont enjoy playing like this for long. Right now, hed be a question to give a Wimbledon wild card to, hed certainly need one . I wonder if he will transition to doubles at some point?
Yeah, I'd love to know where he's at. It pains me to say this, but in the absence of any reason for such poor results over the last year, I think his dip in form may be permanent. Is he working with a coach at the moment? Maybe he feels that he can give the upcoming US hardcourt swing his best effort and take things from there. His ranking will be just about good enough to get into qualies for most of these events, but I haven't gone to the trouble of checking thins. There seems little point in him playing on the dirt this spring, especiually not qualies or challengers.
