For anybody wondering why they were playing fast 4 format scoring, its because there was no play on Friday due to the Red weather warning. They switched to fast 4 scoring from R2 and brought as many R2 matches forward to Thursday as they could with the players that were available and ready to play, but as some of the seeds weren't because they had byes to R2 and weren't originally scheduled to play Thursday, they had to play 4 rounds on Saturday.

This week is the TS Scottish Indoor Doubles Champs in Scotstoun.

16 pairs in the mens, which include Ewen Lumsden and Jonny O'Mara as top seeds

10 pairs in the womens, Erin Pearce who won Newport last week is top seeded in a pair with Marelie Raath (who was top seed in Newport per CD post above). Our own Anna McBride is entered in a pair with Eva Dorado and play in the opening round for the right to play the top seeds.

Not sure if this is Eva Dorado, she appears to be in the over 45 masters events and from Spain, but could easily be a namesake?

Probably not, she is a 17-year-old from Edinburgh, with an Eastern European heritage.  https://app.utrsports.net/profiles/3679196

It did seem a strange partnership for Anna to have!
